Your self-review shouldn't start from a blank page.
By December, the small wins are gone. The all-nighter in March, the deck that landed the client, the meeting you saved. YearCase keeps a record of them as they happen, so review season is editing, not remembering.

Hey Alex,
One sentence is plenty. What's something from last week you'll want to remember in December?
Just hit reply.
Led Q3 planning and got three teams aligned on scope in one meeting. Saved us about two weeks of back and forth.

For the way reviews actually go.
Your company's framework
Paste the competencies your manager actually grades you on. We turn them into editable cards, sub-criteria included.
Sorted as you go

Common questions.
- What if my company doesn't have a formal competency framework?
- Most don't, really. Use the four or five things your manager keeps bringing up in 1:1s. If you want a starting point, paste in leadership, delivery, collaboration, and communication. You can rename and add criteria later.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Entries are encrypted in transit and stored on our own servers. We don't sell anything, we don't train models on your data, and you can export or delete everything any time you want.
- Can I use it for my direct reports?
- Not yet. Right now it's built for writing your own review. A manager view is on the list.
- What if I cancel?
- Your entries stay readable. You can export the whole year before you go, no questions.
- Which AI model do you use?
- OpenAI GPT-4o-mini, for matching entries and drafting paragraphs. The only thing we send is what you've logged plus your competency names and descriptions. Nothing else leaves your account.
